Boy do I ever agree with you. All of these signs are a disgrace.

You have a vote from me to help get rid of them.

I live in the acreage, capital of snipe signs,

we need to do something about these ugly signs

From a Shark....I have been removing snipe signs on Lake worth Road for almost 1 year.

It is a never ending battle. The only satisfaction I get is knowing it is costing them money.

From a spammer......i'll make sure i put one in front of your house next time.

Lately, I have become incensed by the number of snipe signs that appear along our roadways.

The entrances and egress to and from the Interstate are particularly vulnerable,

and it appears that absolutely nothing is done to enforce any code violations.

From a Shark, on political signs...I now have two candidates who have threatened me

with arrest for theft of their property if I 'relocated' their illegally placed signs.

Both are misinformed about the legality of placing signs in OUR right of way.

"Why would someone vote for candidate that would openly break

Florida Election Law to promote their Campaign?"

Can you spot the legal signs?

from Florida's Attorney General..

The Florida Attorney General's Office is in receipt of your recent email expressing your concerns

about political signs displayed by local candidates. The appropriate state agency to review your concerns

would be the Florida Department of State, Division of Elections:

Thank you for contacting Attorney General Charlie Crist's Office. We hope this referral proves helpful.

From a dealer of snipe signs.....keep stealing all the signs. You are making me rich printing all of these signs.

You are pissing a lot of people off. I  or someone is going to catch up to you. most of them know your name and address.

That is dangerous. keep up the good work. I contacted my councilman this morning to come pick up his political and mortgage signs...

in your face. you are fighting a losing battle.

with a little help .... we can stop these disrespecting A** HOLES from littering up where we live...

From a Shark....I HAVE BEEN ON THE SAME CAMPAIGN FOR SEVERAL YEARS IN BOCA AND BOYNTON BEACH.

I HAVE HAD DISCUSSION WITH THE COUNTY ATTORNEY AND CODE VIOLATION.

JUST A LOT OF GARBAGE IN ONE WAY OR ANOTHER.

From a Shark....My wife wanted me to go to Home Depot to buy some plywood( hurricane ).

Sooo..Instead of waiting in line for 5 hours for 10 sheets (max per customer) at my local Home Depot..

I know where I can pickup up as much plywood I could want FOR FREE.....

IT IS AMAZING how many of the illegal political signs or made of 3/4 inch plywood....

From a Shark....

To Everybody Concerned;

Our roadways are being attacked by ugly signs placed by arrogant

business' and individuals who don't care or bother to check the local

zoning laws. This problem is getting way out of hand and could be

addressed by funding acquired from fines levied on the offenders. Any

law not enforced ends up being ignored because "The other guy can do it

 ... why cant I?

The campaign headquarters of those running for office should have

educated their volunteers as to where they can place their signs. You

would think that the negative image would counteract any benefit the

 signs bring.

I would like to see an active approach to the clean up of existing

signs, fines given to offending business' and individuals and funding

for maintaining a program that insures our roadways are not abused by

anyone (including persons running for office).

I will continue to remove any roadside litter I see and will pay close

attention to offenders and will not let them benefit from littering our

roadways. (I will not patronize or vote for a litterbug.)

Another help would be to educate law enforcement officers that these

signs are litter and anyone removing them is not breaking any law. I

was forced by Officer Gay of the Palm Beach County Sheriffs office to

return three signs of an offender who had placed For Sale By Owner

Signs at the entrance of a development on Big Blue Trace in

Wellington. This offender was so bold as to chain his signs to a tree,

cover them in syrup, and complain of theft to the sheriffs office when

I removed them. The officer was uninformed as to what constitutes

 litter.

Thank you for your time and will look forward to any help you can offer

 our community and its aesthetics.

From a spammer.Who gives you the right to remove and take in your possesion

any staked sign, regardless if it is illegal or not? You are nothing

more than a thief. If I park a car on the right of way, do you have the

right to hook it up to your truck and take it home with you?? I will

tell you this, I will put my signs out again and monitor them closley.

If I catch you steaking my signs, I will press charges agains you and

anyone members of your cult. Remember, I may be breaking the law by

having my sign in the righ of way, but you are breaking the law by

stealing them! Look forward to seeing you at the next intersection!!

This spammer needs to listen to Palm Beach County Commissioner Burt Aaronson's Comments(click link below)

On September 14 I appeared before the County Commissioners during matters by the public.

I did a powerpoint presentation on snipesigns. A 20 minute discussion followed. I don't know

what kind of action they will take(if any), however most of them voiced concerns about the problem.

If you have a quick connection...

Check out the powerpoint presentation

Ignorance of the law is no excuse. As a businessman, when they choose to advertise their venture,

they should be aware of, and obey the laws regarding signage.

These Businesses have NO RIGHT to litter the roadways of Palm Beach County.

If they continue to behave as outlaws, then they should be treated as such….
